The Identity Protection Institute is located in Columbus, Ohio and is dedicated to helping businesses and individuals take the preventative steps to safeguarding from the threat of identity theft.

Kenneth E. Fritz, Robin L. Carrier, and Daniel A. Schwenker, founders of the Identity Protection Institute, have a combined expertise in the financial services industry of over 80 years educating and advising clients on how to best improve their lives and protect their assets.

The Identity Protection Institute (IPI) was established after recognizing the growing need to help clients protect themselves by countering thieves who have turned Identity Theft into the fastest growing crime in America.

According to the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, more than 165 million records containing personal identification information (pii) have been involved in United States data security breaches since 2005. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) estimates that as many as 10 million Americans have their identities stolen each year.
